VA Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Transactions Application Suite (TAS) task Sub-Contract Award
Wellesley, MA, July 23, 2019- Henry Elliott & Company, Inc. has been awarded a subcontract to provide project management, requirements analysis, design, development, integration, and testing in support of the Office of Community Care (OCC) EDI TAS Program.
The development team will be expected to deliver digital solutions in support of OCC systems business requirements, objectives, and mandates in existing and new systems to support claims and supporting functionality. The software engineering services resulting from this task will require deep knowledge of VistA Accounts Receivable and Integrated Billing (IB) modules, and expertise with multiple external applications and environments, to include the VA Enterprise Cloud and those at the VA Financial Services Center (FSC), Austin Automation Center (AAC), healthcare billing clearinghouses, and Information Assurance applications.

2019- Veteran Data Integration and Federation Support contract award by VA Office of EHR Modernization (OEHRM). Contract to sustain core components of, and applications interfaces to the VDIF EP, and to support migration of applications into VDIF EP to accomplish the HIE transition and migration.

Our role was to provide HealthConnect/Ensemble SME supporting the migration of the VA VIE middleware to HealthShare/HealthConnect for over 100 VA systems/applications.
Guide the team to follow VA VIP release methodology, develop, review, coordinate release and demo to stakeholders the HC migration solutions. Create configuration guides for data migration. Technical environment: Subject Matter Expert for VistA/Ensemble/HealthShare Cache Objects, HL7 ER7 and XML, JMS/WebLogic.

Tele Health Management Platform Appointment Scheduling (TMP)
Henry Elliott Experience: VistA and VA release consultant. MUMPS and HealthShare/ Ensemble architect and programmer. Project Goals/Initiatives: To create an appointment scheduling system using the Tele Health Management Platform and VistA. The project will use HealthShare and Ensemble as the middle tier interface between VistA and TMP.
HealthShare and Ensemble architect and programming. VistA programming. Currently creating the code for the VistA HL7 messages. Development of the HealthShare/Ensemble productions to receive the VistA HL7 messages, transform them from HL7 messages to JSON messages and put the JSON message on a REST endpoint.
Development of the HealthShare/Ensemble REST endpoint used to receive JSON messages from TMP, transform the JSON messages into HL7 messages and send the HL7 message to VA VistA. On VA VistA create the HL7 receiving process that will process the TMP HL7 query for information. Create the response message for the TMP HL7 query and return the data in HL7 messages to HealthShare/Ensemble, on Ensemble transform the HL7 message to a JSON message and put the JSON message on the REST end point for TMP.
Community Care Referrals and Authorization (CCR&A) Sub-Contract Award
Wellesley, MA, December 4, 2017- Henry Elliott & Company, Inc. has been awarded a subcontract to provide systems engineering and integration development services (InterSystems HealthShare, Caché/VistA) to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) on the Community Care Referrals and Authorization (CCR&A) project.
The Community Care Referrals and Authorizations (CCR&A) solution will be an enterprise-wide system used by Community Care (CC) staff to automatically generate referrals and authorizations for all Veterans receiving care in the community. Clinical and VA CC staff located at VA Medical Centers, Outpatient Clinics, Community Based Outpatient Clinics, and VISN offices will use this solution. The CCR&A solution will be an integral component of the VA Community Care Information Technology (IT) architecture that allows Veterans to receive care from Community Providers.
Camp Lejeune Sub-Contract Award
Wellesley, MA, July 15, 2017 – Henry Elliott & Company, Inc. has won a subcontract to provide software development and SQA services to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) on the Camp Lejeune project which is part of the Enrollment Health Benefit Determination (EHBD) award.
The purpose of the EHBD project is to modernize the Enrollment System for the Veteran’s Administration. The purpose of the work to be performed under this SOW is to provide VistA software enhancements and release management supporting the EHBD Program, including Camp Lejuene.
Mobile Scheduling Enhancements Award
Wellesley, MA, May 15, 2017 – Henry Elliott & Company, Inc. has won a subcontract to provide software development services to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) on the Mobile Scheduling Enhancements Award.
Mobile Scheduling Enhancements project is part of the larger effort to meet the VA’s desires to benefit from advances in mobile technology. Their goal is to: Improve the quality of health of Veterans, Increase the quality of healthcare available through the VHA, Improve the efficiency of Providers as well as supporting staff, and Continuously expand Veterans’ overall satisfaction with VA.
Enterprise Testing Service Award
Wellesley, MA, May 1, 2017 – Henry Elliott & Company, Inc. has won a subcontract to provide testing services to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) on the Enterprise Testing Service Award.
Under this contract the VA ETS, includes Independent Test and Evaluation, Software Code Quality Checking, Testing Systems Engineering & Implementation, Continuous Quality Improvement, ETS Management and Logistics Services, and other services as required to OI&T organizations in support of our Veterans.
Wellesley, MA, January 31, 2017 – Henry Elliott & Company, Inc. has won a subcontract to provide software development and technical support services to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) on the Administrative Data Repository (ADR) Health Data Repository (HDR) Sustainment award.
This contract provides support of existing and new functionality, continuity of services and general program management assistance. It also provides deployed product software upgrades, repair and minor enhancements. Will provide support to the field during upgrade periods, and/or customer survey results which will follow the deployment schedule.
Wellesley, MA, October 11, 2016 – Henry Elliott & Company, Inc. has been awarded a migration project for 2016-2107 to provide InterSystems Caché Consultants to assist our Midwest Laboratory customer. The project is to convert its Digital Standard Mumps Open VMS based system to InterSystems Caché Database Technology, within the LINUX Operating System. Our work will be at the application level.
Wellesley, MA, August 31, 2016 – Henry Elliott & Company, Inc. has won a subcontract to provide software development support services to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information & Technology Enterprise Program Management Office (ePMO). Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information & Technology (OI&T), enterprise Program Management Office (ePMO) is to provide benefits and services to Veterans of the United States.
The scope of this Medical Care Collection Fund (MCCF) Electronic Data Interchange task order is to provide software development, software development testing support, prototyping support, warranty support, user training support, and transition support for the MCCF family of software products. As part of this award, Henry Elliott & Company, Inc. will provide VistA software development consultants.
In addition to MCCF, Henry Elliott & Company, Inc. has been awarded two other subcontracts assisting our partners on EPIP and eHMP. We are providing technology professionals in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
