Job Description:
- Manage the development and growth of our ERP system running on InterSystems IRIS.
- Oversee all IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity and data management.
- Manage relationships with key IT partners to accommodate growth and security.
Key responsibilities
- Works with internal team to understand and implement software changes and ideas that make the company more productive and competitive.
- Responsible for customer onboarding process with EDI, labeling, paperwork, etc.
- Manages both IRIS and Linux updates.
- Prepares and maintains technical documentation for ERP system and other IT documents and procedures.
- Responsible for company’s disaster recovery plan.
- Negotiates with vendors on behalf of the company to ensure cost effective purchasing decisions.
- Manages a small IT team for system admin activities and software development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- Ten plus years working with the InterSystems technology stack. Specifically Cache and IRIS.
- Two plus years EDI experience.
- Five plus years manufacturing experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Demonstrates the ability to lead people and get results through others.
- Strong team player with the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
