Job Description: We are seeking an AI Engineer. You will design, integrate, and deploy AI solutions-including agentic applications, LLM inference, similarity search, guardrails, and model evaluation- to improve workflows and scalability, and to optimize the deployment, operation, and upgrade of InterSystems cloud solutions.
This role is ideal for a strong software engineer passionate about applying AI to real-world challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build prototypes and deliver production-ready solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering or platform engineering roles.
- Experience building AI/ML solutions-such as agentic applications, LLM inference, similarity search, vector databases, guardrails, or memory systems.
- Strong coding skills in Python or other languages such as C++ or ObjectScript.
- Expertise in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or private cloud) and containerization technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Tabnine, Replit).
- Background in DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Ansible.
- Contributions to open-source AI/ML frameworks or tools are a plus.
