Program Manager
Responsibilities:
- Develops full-scale technical project plans and revises as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Defines project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals.
- Effectively communicates project expectations to team members and delegates tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
- Acts as the primary interface, as required, between contractors and stakeholders during planning, design, ongoing deployment, issue management, and ongoing customer relationship management.
- Escalates issues requiring leadership involvement and decision-making, following through to get closure.
- Plans, schedules, and tracks project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Works with the information technology team, including the Solution Architect or Technical Lead, along with implementation partners or contractors, as needed, to ensure tasks are included in the project plan with the sufficient amount of detail to ensure project goals are met on time and within resource allocation.
- Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies potential crises, and devises contingency plans.
Qualifications
- Five years’ experience in technical project management, specifically in the Health Information Technology field, preferably at a setting that regularly interfaces with an electronic health record or health information exchange.
- Experience in Agile Project Management Framework preferred.
- A high level of proficiency with the Microsoft 365 (e.g., Visio, Project, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Experience with project management software (e.g., Oracle NetSuite).
